Expert Impact: content/website copy/social media

I was the Head of Communications at Expert Impact and boy, was there a lot to do when I first arrived. It offered a great service (free mentoring from some very successful and well known business leaders) but there was low awareness of it amongst the target audience. It wasn't immediately clear how that service worked or the impact it could have, no testimonials, and the website needed an overhaul. The social media channels were also under utilised . In short, the charity needed to tell its story much better.

 

‘How it works’ was brought to the fore and made clearer. I expanded the profiles of the business leaders to better shout about their incredible credentials. I told the stories of the meetings and how they’d helped the social entrepreneurs who had used the service. I wrote countless social media posts that worked to tantalise and intrigue people to visit the website. Alongside all that I nailed down their tone of voice and put together a comms plan. As a result, applications for the service increased.
